What to Expect at Your First Visit
At your first appointment, your gastroenterologist will review your medical history, symptoms, and any prior GI records or imaging. They will discuss your concerns and develop a diagnostic and treatment plan. If a procedure such as colonoscopy or upper endoscopy is recommended, it will be scheduled at one of our endoscopy centers. Most new patient appointments are 30–45 minutes.
